We’re delighted that Grandparents Plus has been awarded £180,000 over three years by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
The funding supports our ambition to transform support for kinship families by raising awareness about their unique experiences and needs, influencing policy and practice change and expanding our pioneering on-the-ground support programmes and peer support across the country.
Lucy Peake, Chief Executive at Grandparents Plus, said: “Our grant from Esmée Fairbairn Foundation feels like a real vote of confidence in kinship care as well as our ambitious plans as a charity. The funding will allow us to build on our successful approach of supporting, and working with, kinship families across the country to develop solutions to the unique challenges they face. I can’t think of a better way to start the year.”
