We are the experts in kinship care.
Since 2002 we have worked with and for kinship care families towards our vision for a society in which kinship families are recognised, valued and supported.
As the leading kinship care charity, we support all kinship care families, including special guardians, and regardless of the child’s legal order.
We currently partner with 83 local authorities across England and Wales and can demonstrate measurable results that empower kinship carers to build happy, stable homes for the children in their care resulting in positive futures for the whole family.
Our ‘lived experience’ model means that kinship carers are at the heart of our work. We consult regularly with our active community of over 8,000 kinship carers and our professional’s network so that we thoroughly understand their multiple and complex needs, and we can make sure our support services meet them.
