This website is owned and operated by Kinship. References to “we”, “us”, “you” or “our” in these terms and conditions are references to Kinship, a charity registered in England and Wales, registered charity number: 1093975.
You may not alter this website in any way or post onto or transmit to this website, including all subdomains, any material containing software viruses or files which may damage or disrupt the good working order of computer or telecommunications equipment.

1.1 The materials contained on this site are either the copyright of individual contributors or of Kinship and may be subject to other intellectual property rights.
2. Use of this website
2.1 The following acts are prohibited in respect of this website and any of the content featured on it:
2.1.1 Any rental leasing or lending of any material obtained or derived from the website;
2.1.2 Reproduction, including without limitation the extraction and/or storage in any retrieval system or inclusion in any other computer program or work, without the prior consent of Kinship. If you wish to reproduce any content, you must contact us and we may charge a fee. Please contact info@kinship.org.uk who will be able to advise accordingly.
2.1.3 Altering, transforming, or building upon any content contained in this website.
2.1.4 All copyrights and trademark notices, marks, disclaimers, and other such elements must be preserved and upheld at all times.

3.1 This website may contain links to websites operated by third parties. The operation of these websites is outside Kinship’s control and you proceed at your own risk. We do not endorse or sponsor, and are not liable for the products, services, or content you access through any linked site.

4.1 We will collect, use, store and disclose your personal details in accordance with our privacy statement.
5. General
5.1 If any part of these terms and conditions are not enforceable, this will not affect the enforceability of any other part.
5.2 These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and all disputes will be submitted to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
6. Use of communications facilities
6.1 When using any system on the website you should do so in accordance with the following rules. Failure to comply with these rules may result in your Account being suspended or closed:
6.1.1 You must not use obscene or vulgar language;
6.1.2 You must not submit content that is unlawful or otherwise objectionable. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, ageist, sexist or racist;
6.1.3 You must not submit content that is intended to promote or incite violence;
6.1.4 It is advised that submissions are made using the English language as we may be unable to respond to enquiries submitted in any other languages;
6.1.5 The means by which you identify yourself must not violate these Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws;
6.1.6 You must not impersonate other people, particularly employees and representatives of Kinship; and
6.1.7 You must not use our system for unauthorised mass-communication such as “spam” or “junk mail”.
6.2 You acknowledge that Kinship reserves the right to monitor any and all communications made to us or using our system.
6.3 You acknowledge that Kinship may retain copies of any and all communications made to us or using our system.
6.4 You acknowledge that any information you send to us through our system may be modified by us in any way and you hereby waive your moral right to be identified as the author of such information. Any restrictions you may wish to place upon our use of such information must be communicated to us in advance and we reserve the right to reject such terms and associated information.
7. Accounts
7.1 In order to procure services on this website and to use certain other parts of the system, you are required to create an account which will contain certain personal details. By continuing to use this website you agree that:
7.1.1 all information you submit is accurate and truthful.
7.1.2 you will keep this information accurate and up to date.
7.2 It is recommended that you do not share your account details, particularly your username and password. We accept no liability for any losses or damages incurred as a result of your account details being shared by you. If you use a shared computer, it is recommended that you do not save your account details in your internet browser.
7.3 If you have reason to believe that your account details have been obtained by another person without consent, you should contact us immediately to suspend your account.
7.4 When choosing your username you are required to adhere to the terms set out. Any failure to do so could result in the suspension and/or deletion of your account.
8. Termination and cancellation of accounts
8.1 Either Kinship or you may terminate your account. If we terminate your account, you will be notified by email and an explanation for the termination will be provided. Notwithstanding this, we reserve the right to terminate without giving reasons.
8.2 If we terminate your account, any current or pending orders or payments on your account will be cancelled and provision of services will not commence.
