They have Christmas and Easter parties for the children. They hope to arrange days out in the summer for everyone to get together.

The group aims to provide a space where carers can come and chat about the highs and the lows, receive support and advice from each other and form friendships. They signpost to external services when required.
This group is open to all kinship carers in the Halifax area. This group aims to build a community of kinship carers who can offer peer support to each other. It is situated inside the cafe at Shibden Park. On summer days we often go for a wander around too.
