City Bridge Foundation

Since 2020, City Bridge Foundation has helped us to provide information and advice to kinship carers in London. In fact, thanks to their support, we’ve reached kinship carers in all 32 London boroughs.

This long-term funding has helped provide financial security so that we can keep delivering advice and support to Londoners who have stepped up to raise a child who is not their own.

Together with City Bridge Foundation, we’ve helped kinship carers across London to feel more able to fulfil their role as a carer, through increasing their confidence and emotional wellbeing. They are also more informed about their rights, what they are entitled to and what sources of support are available to them.

Kinship carers in London are also financially better off, with many identifying new benefit entitlements or accessing charity grants for essential goods.

"We’re delighted to be able to support Kinship. Its work has a huge impact in providing both practical and emotional support to carers, helping them provide a loving home for children who’ve often experienced very difficult or traumatic experiences in their life."
