Meet Poppy
Poppy, now 23, went to live with her grandmother when she was 8 years old.
We spoke to Poppy to hear more about her experience of growing up in kinship care. She shared how she often felt invisible, with people not recognising the challenges her and her grandmother were facing. She explained the emotional impact of this on her, both at home and at school.
