We know that peer support is really important to our kinship carers. We have an incredible community of over 8,000 kinship carers and a growing network of over 120 support groups across England and Wales.
We also run Someone Like Me, a peer-to-peer listening service where we match trained kinship carer volunteers to other kinship carers.

Peer Support Groups
Our support groups consist of kinship carers coming together to share stories, support each other, and exchange advice and coping mechanisms.

Someone Like Me: speak to a volunteer
Someone Like Me is a volunteer delivered telephone peer support service. We offer emotional support to kinship carers who need a listening ear.
