Safe In Our Hands is run by connected carers, for all types of families who care for non-birth children across Lincolnshire. We offer a welcoming space for anyone caring for someone else’s child, whether as a kinship carer, connected carer, special guardian, foster parent or adoptive parent - or anything in between. Whether you're just starting out or have been on this journey for a while, we’re here to walk alongside you with guidance, reassurance, and connection. We meet in person once a month, run seasonal events, and stay in touch through our Facebook page and private group chat. Our meetups aim to include children, giving them the chance to play, build friendships, and feel seen among others who understand their experiences. We also offer support, resources, signposting and a listening ear to those who need it. We aim to raise funds to support days out for our families, to create joyful, lasting memories together.

When?
Regular meet ups are scheduled through our private Facebook page but virtual support can be accessed at all times.

Where?
Based across Lincolnshire, we offer both face-to-face in various locations across the counties and also on Facebook.

Who can join?
Any Kinship carer based across Lincolnshire.

How to join
You can visit our website and submit a form to join the group, you can reach out to our public Facebook page or you can also email us.

Children
We plan a variety of meet-ups with most of our events focused on being child friendly, so you and your little ones can all come.
