"It was a little bit scary joining the group for the first meeting because I was quite emotional at the time and at a very low point. But as soon as I joined, I was welcomed and felt part of the group."

Special interest groups

As part of developing groups for kinship carers to come together, we heard that some carers would like to meet other carers that they may have additional things in common with, as well as kinship care.

See our other special interest groups.

If you can’t find a special interest group that meets your needs, please contact us at peersupport@kinship.org.uk.
