Kinship carers who are dual caregivers

Online

Are you caring for both children and another adult - such as a partner, parent, or relative? You're not alone. This online peer support group is a welcoming space for people navigating the unique challenges of dual caregiving. Whether you're balancing school runs with hospital visits, or managing family life alongside supporting someone with additional needs, this group offers a safe, confidential space to share your experiences with others who truly understand. We meet via Zoom to connect, listen, and uplift one another. No pressure, no judgment - just real conversations and mutual support.

Special interest groups

As part of developing groups for kinship carers to come together, we heard that some carers would like to meet other carers that they may have additional things in common with, as well as kinship care.

See our other special interest groups.

If you can’t find a special interest group that meets your needs, please contact us at peersupport@kinship.org.uk.
