Kinship Care Week 2025 message wall

A shared space to honour, celebrate and connect.



Here, kinship carers, families and supporters can pin stories, messages, photos and videos that reflect the strength, love and resilience at the heart of kinship care. Post your message this Kinship Care Week (6 to 12 October 2025).

Whether it's sharing a proud achievement, words of encouragement or how you’re celebrating the week - every post reminds other kinship carers they are not alone and could reach someone who truly needs it.

Ready to share your message? Post on the wall below – and, if you need help, see how to add your message. Your message will be approved by Kinship first and may take up to an hour to appear. Once you’ve posted, don’t forget to share it on Facebook. Please note messages are being moderated by Kinship.

Please do not share any identifiable information like surnames, and please do not post images of others without their consent, or if you don't have parental responsibility in the case of a child. See below for our full posting guidelines.

How to add your message

  1. Double click a blank space on the wall or click the + button on the bottom right to post to the wall.

  2. Write your message (and add a photo or video if you’d like).

  3. Click submit – your message will be approved by Kinship first and may take up to an hour to appear.

Share on Facebook

Once you’ve submitted your message make sure to share on Facebook so more people know about the strong network of kinship carers and supporters who are helping kinship families to heal, grow and thrive.

How to share on social media:

  1. Click “Share” in the top right-hand corner of the wall. This will take you to the “Share” settings on padlet.com.
  2. Click “Share via another app” (on the right-hand side).
  3. Click “Facebook”.
  4. Share with the hashtag #KinshipCareWeek and tag us @kinshipcarecharity

Posting guidelines

  • Be kind and respectful: The purpose of our Kinship Care Week message wall is to uplift and encourage others. We want this to be a kind, respectful, and safe space for everyone taking part in Kinship Care Week.
  • Don’t share identifiable information: Please don’t share surnames, your address or specific location. Please only share information or an image of your kinship child if you have parental responsibility for that child. Only share real first names if you are comfortable doing so and consider whether the information you share could upset anyone.
  • Respect others’ privacy: Don’t share names, details, or images of anyone without their permission.
  • Keep it safe and appropriate: The message wall will be moderated by Kinship to remove any offensive or harmful content, or anything that might upset others (although there may be a delay). If you see anything that concerns you, please let us know immediately by emailing comms@kinship.org.uk
