Campaign, fundraise, volunteer, donate or partner with us and make a difference to kinship families across England and Wales.
Take a look back on what happened in Kinship Care Week in 2021.
In 2021, we asked kinship carers:
“What would you like to say to the kinship families in your life? Now’s your chance to say it loud and proud, and let them know exactly how you feel about them.
Whether you’re a kinship carer who relies on the support of a friend, or you know a kinship carer who deserves to be honoured, help us spread the word and celebrate kinship families.”
"We took my 8-month-old grandson on in 2020. He has been through so much in his little life. I could not imagine life without him. At the age of 57 it was a big step but I wouldn’t have it any other way."

"“I would like to thank my mum for looking after my son. After a long fight to get my son out of foster care, he’s now been with my mum for two and a half years. He’s doing better in school, he’s settled and happy and I have never seen my son so content. Without her my son wouldn’t be where he is today. He is the most polite, caring, loving and kind little boy. I can’t thank her enough for what she’s done. She makes me proud every single day.""
