Tell your MP how cuts to therapy funding will affect children in kinship care
Kinship carers are pushing back on the changes to the adoption and special guardianship support fund (ASGSF) and making the case for support for all children in kinship care by emailing their MP.

Meet us in London for a protest
A group of adoptive parents and others affected by changes to the ASGSF are organising a peaceful march in central London on Saturday 3 May. We’re not involved in organising the march, but a group of kinship carers will be there on the day to make sure kinship families’ voices are heard.
Meet us there at Parliament Square at 12 midday on Saturday 3 May. We’ll have some t-shirts and placards to wave. We’d love to see you there. Let us know if you’re coming by using the button below to send us an email.

Tell Rachel Reeves: kinship carers can't pay with love
Most kinship carers don’t get the financial support they need and we know they are struggling to afford the essentials. Kinship carers can’t pay with love. Send the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, a message and call on her to give all kinship carers the financial support they need.

#ValueOurLove campaign
Every child needs love and 141,000 children across England and Wales being raised by relatives or family friends know the value of love. Children growing up in kinship care have often had a really difficult start in life having experienced significant trauma and loss that lasts a lifetime. Yet unlike children in foster care, most of them and those caring for them receive no support, pushing kinship families to breaking point.
The #ValueOurLove campaign is bringing kinship carers, campaigners and passionate supporters together to transform the broken system, so that all kinship families get the proper support they need and deserve. We’re making progress but there’s still some way to go.
