What is a support group?
Our support groups consist of kinship carers coming together to share stories, support each other, and exchange advice and coping mechanisms. They are a great way to meet other kinship carers and help to reduce loneliness and isolation.
There are a number of friendly support groups operating across the country, some are run by Kinship and others are independent groups. Select your area from the box below to see if there is a group in your area.

Someone Like Me
If you can’t find a support group near you, or are unable to attend, but would like to talk to other kinship carers, you can call our Someone Like Me service. Our Someone Like Me volunteers are all kinship carers themselves and happy to have a chat, give you some support and really understand what you are going through. Book a call with one on this form.
