We know that this is an extremely difficult and uncertain time for kinship carers. We want to let you know that we are here for you. We are sharing information and advice on these pages which we hope you will find helpful. We are adding to it every day so please keep checking back.
Our advice service is open with extended hours, and whilst our advisers are handling an unprecedented number of enquiries at the moment, they will help you as soon as they can. For those of you working with our project workers, they will continue to support you in different ways. We also urge you to join our Kinship Community so that we can stay in touch with you by email over the coming weeks.
Kinship Response is our new annual membership service for special guardians is funded by your local authority in response to COVID-19 and gives you access to a range of our services – all for free. We are here for you and your family over the next few months, helping to ease your worries and support you through these strange times and so you know that you’re not alone.
Please keep your stories coming in so we can continue to shine a light on your experiences and push for change. As we are several weeks into the pandemic we want to hear from you, please complete our online form. If you have already told us your story but things have changed please let us know using: our online form or email comms@kinship.org.uk.
