In order to check the relevance and accuracy of the document, three consultation sessions were held with Special Guardians and Project Workers from Grandparents Plus (several of whom are SGs themselves). The purpose of these sessions was to consult with Special Guardians on the content of the tool, identify any gaps or weaknesses and identify any best practice which could be included. 18 Special Guardians and 6 Project Workers participated in three consultation sessions which took place online due to the Corona Virus pandemic. Their views and reflections were recorded and included in the relevant sections of the document.
