We are currently developing new digital solutions to create a kinship carer focussed resource to help all of you, wherever you are in your kinship care journey.

Using freely available and accessible technology we aim to help connect you with advice, guidance and support tailored to you.

We are excited to be teamed up with digital agency Snook, who are working their magic to help us produce the best possible tool to improve the lives of all kinship carers.

We hope you’ll join us on our journey as we develop this new digital solution into 2021.

What is it?

Kinship digital is simply a way of providing you with free up-to-date advice and support unique to your personal needs. Using various technology we hope to provide you with access to support via all available services (including our own), quickly and through whichever communication tool you are most comfortable with, whether it’s a traditional phone, social media or our website.

How will it help you?

Kinship digital will provide improvements to the way we communicate advice, support and guidance. It will provide you with various ways of getting answers to your questions every step along your journey as a kinship carer. It will also help you to access services relevant to you and your unique circumstances.

What will you need to use it?

We aim to connect with all carers, whatever your digital ability or access to technology. We will also be making improvements to the website to help you find information useful to you without having to spend time searching. Our aim is to provide solutions for all using various methods of communication, from a landline telephone to a laptop and smartphone.

Funding and partners

This project has been funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. We are working with digital agency Snook, whose expert team is working closely with us to build this innovative and much-needed tool to help all kinship carers across England (and Wales).

The project is designed by kinship carers for kinship carers.
