We’re looking for someone who is organised, a people-person, able to engage with kinship carers in an understanding, patient and empathetic manner. To apply for this role, you must be aged 16-24 years, be on Universal Credit, and registered with a Work Coach at the Job Centre.
As a Grants Assistant you will support the Grants Officer and advice team in the administration of the charitable grants we secure for our kinship carer. These grants help to provide essential items and other support, where this support is not available through other sources. The role will be a mixture of administrative duties and liaising directly with kinship carers on the telephone and via e-mail. Training will be given.
This role is funded by the government’s Kickstart scheme which aims to create job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit.
Whilst we can’t take applications directly, the role is available at all Job Centres. Please speak to your Work Coach at their local Job Centre to request a referral.
