Our vision at KINSHIP is motivated by experience: we believe that having the freedom to explore playfully is essential to emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
KINSHIP’s crew of skilled play practitioners, teachers, musicians, artists, and visionaries, are committed to sharing their skills and practice with children all over the world, especially with those whose social or physical environments currently curtail their freedom to express themselves to full potential.
In KINSHIP philosophy, the welfare of the child is paramount. In our experience, children express greatest enjoyment and feel able to explore their environment most happily when given licence to engage playfully and creatively through a wide range of media. Our workshop leaders and volunteers are particularly skilled in facilitating :
Visual Arts : painting, collage and model making
Music : singing, improvising and instrument making
Dance : mime, circus skills, choreography
Drama : improvisation, costume and prop making, physical theatre
